Q & A with the Artist

We are proud to showcase a variety of different kinds of performing arts at the fringe.

What is your show? What kind of performance is it? What is it about?

The Hero’s Journey is a one-hour fully improvised musical following a hero and villain- both created fully based on audience suggestions! This show is different every performance, and exists only for the audience at that show- truly a “you had to be there” experience!

Fringe festivals are a place for art at all levels of creation. Where are you at in your process?

Is this a first draft? A previously produced piece? An experimental show? Or something else?

Pandemic! @ the Disco is a two time OEA award winning Outstanding Comedic Ensemble, and has been performing together as a duo since 2018. They now have a monthly show every first Friday of the month at the Backline Comedy Theater downtown, and this will be their fourth year as a part of the Omaha Fringe Festival!

Why did you submit your show to Omaha Fringe?

This will be our fourth year performing in Omaha Fringe, and it is a true honor to once again perform alongside such a wide variety of Omaha talent!!

What are you hoping audiences will experience when they see your performance?

What can audiences expect to take away?

Audiences will receive a one-of-a-kind musical experience from some of the most talented musical improvisors in the Midwest! Never before seen, never to be seen again- don’t miss this opportunity!
