What is your show? What kind of performance is it? What is it about?
Sweater Vest City is a sketch show featuring a wide and exciting variety of comedy! We’ve created a special show just for you! Join us for a night of dancing, laughter, and maybe even a few vampires, if you’re lucky!
Fringe festivals are a place for art at all levels of creation. Where are you at in your process?
Is this a first draft? A previously produced piece? An experimental show? Or something else?
The sketches in this show are coming in all different forms. Some of them were written over a year ago and were just looking for a home, while other sketches are being written for the Omaha Fringe Festival specifically. Regardless of the sketch, they’re all going to be viewed by an audience for the first time in Sweater Vest City, and we can’t wait for you to see them!
Why did you submit your show to Omaha Fringe?
We like sharing comedy as much as we do creating it. We jump at the chance to make people laugh, so the thought of coming to Omaha to make that happen was exciting!
What are you hoping audiences will experience when they see your performance?
What can audiences expect to take away?
We’re hoping that our audiences will leave knowing that comedy can come from anywhere. Our favorite moments in the theatre are the ones that bring an audience together, and we hope to create that unifying feeling through laughter.
