Duck Duck Goose is a live sketch comedy performance presented by grab the ghosts. We specialize in creating and performing original sketches that cover a wide range of topics, blending sharp wit, clever humor, and engaging storytelling. Our show features a series of short, comedic scenes that explore everything from everyday situations to absurd and imaginative scenarios, ensuring there's something for everyone.
Fringe festivals are a place for art at all levels of creation. Where are you at in your process?
Is this a first draft? A previously produced piece? An experimental show? Or something else?
Our show is a compilation of our best sketches, carefully selected from our repertoire of previously written and performed pieces. Each sketch has been refined through multiple performances and audience feedback, ensuring a polished and entertaining experience. While we continually strive to innovate and experiment with new material, this show represents the culmination of our most successful and well-received work to date.
Why did you submit your show to Omaha Fringe?
We submitted to the Omaha Fringe Festival because it offers an incredible platform to share our unique brand of sketch comedy with a diverse and enthusiastic audience. The festival's commitment to showcasing a wide range of performing arts aligns perfectly with our goal of bringing fresh, original, and engaging comedy to the stage. We believe that the Omaha Fringe Festival provides an excellent opportunity for us to connect with fellow artists, gain valuable feedback, and contribute to the vibrant arts community in Omaha.
